I only take a small number of wedding bookings each year so that I can offer you a fresh approach and undivided attention.

A Wild Whimsy bride and groom are the couple who want to connect with their photographer, more than just on the wedding day.  You will be relaxed and planning a natural and informal event where your guests are important to you. You want a wedding day where the time flows and the moments happen without the photography taking over.

How much time is included in your wedding packages?

Our wedding packages all include NO time restrictions.  We want to capture the whole story of your day so we make ourselves available for that story  – the novel that goes until the day is done or the short story that finishes with dinner.  You tell us when to start and when to go home!


How many photos will we get?

This really does vary quite a bit depending on the type of wedding celebration you are having.    Most couples receive 80-100 images per hour of coverage and 150 or so in their printed books with 200 – 300  in their digital mobile app.  It’s also popular to have an art piece made for the wall in your home.


How can I make sure I look good in my photos?

Be yourself!  Naturally happy and relaxed brides and grooms will always look good in their images.    We’ve created a booking process that lets us get to know each other so you’ll  be comfortable with me on the day. We also can offer you helpful tips…. and lavender oil if you need it!!!  Seriously though…. we encourage you to leave some breathing room in your schedule so you don’t feel rushed on the day.  We dedicate ourselves to presenting you with gorgeous images documenting your day as it unfolds.


Do you edit our images?

All images delivered to you will be checked and edited based on the package you’ve chosen.  Any images we print for you in your book or wall prints will be checked for blemishes or inconsistencies due to light or colour variation.    Some photographers edit their images to get a certain look and feel, if you love what you see here…. then we will be friends!


What is included in our wedding album?

* All the images you select at your Album Design appointment for your album, minimum 65

*  A design opportunity for you to personalise your book,

*  And a few short weeks later (5-6 weeks) ….. delivery of your fine art, lovingly Australian handcrafted, book with stunning custom cover options and presentation box.


What are your prices?

That really depends on what you include in your package.  On average our brides spend between $3000 – $6000 on their wedding photos.  All packages include at least one extra storytelling mini experience – often used for engagement/save-the-date portraits or a post wedding portrait which could a 1st anniversary.


What’s in your packages?

Everything your heart and budget desires?   Fine Art Albums, wall art pieces, and the digital “Stand the test of time” collection are all popular package choices.


Do you have instalment plans?

Yes, absolutely!  Instalment plans are interest free and are great when you want to spread out paying for your package over 6 or 12 months.


Do you charge extra for travel?

Not for weddings in the South East corner of Qld.  However if your wedding is beyond the Gold Coast to the South, the Sunshine Coast to the North and Toowoomba and surrounds to the west then there will be a travel fee to cover our costs.  If you are having a destination wedding then we ask for you to provide a minimum of one nights accommodation.


What if I have family or friends who want to contribute to our wedding photography package?

Firstly, aren’t they lovely!!  That can be arranged!  Easy.


What is included in your wedding packages?

We have  packages to give you a starting point.  When we meet up as well as getting to know each other, we will discuss how you most want to enjoy the photos from your day in your home and in the future.  From there we refine your package and confirm a price that is inclusive of all your dreams and wishes.


Do you do engagement or save the date shoots?

Yes…. in fact all our wedding packages include at least one complimentary mini portrait experience prior to your wedding day!


Should we do a first look and what is a “First Look”?

I think they are beautiful!    The first look is a chance for wedding couples (or father and/or mother of the bride) to see each other privately before the ceremony.  It’s a great chance to get the wedding jitters out and spend a few moments alone together.  It can be a great way to avoid stress on the day.


Do I really need a second photographer?

No one NEEDS a second photographer.  You can get great results either way.  When you check the photos here of the weddings we’ve documented, let us know if you think anything is missing in the images.  If you’d really like one, we can talk to our recommended second photographer (Who happens to be a Bronwyn too) for you!


How far in advance do I need to book you?

As it gets closer to your wedding date it will be harder to book …. for sure!  We will be sad if we are unavailable however we can offer recommendations.



What happens next after we decide we’d like to book you for our wedding


*The booking paperwork and contract will be sent to you for signing and confirmation.  Your non-refundable deposit will be due for payment.  Your date is not secured until your deposit is paid.

*I will make a time to meet up, either at the studio or at a location you suggest or we could Skype or FaceTime .

*At the meeting we will discuss your wedding day, your history together.

* We will make a time where we will take a few photos together, generally getting to know each other.

*You can contact me at any time, and we can often help you with timing the day or accessing our recommendation for other wedding service providers.

*About a month before the wedding we like to touch base and confirm all your wedding day plans like where you are getting ready, who is the best man, what family photos you’d like etc.


How do we book you?

Call us or send a message on the Say Hello option here ……  we’d like to personally thank you first….. and then we’ll reserve your date with your holding deposit.
