When my mind wanders back over the day that was Luke and Amy’s wedding I feel big bubbles of happiness and a smile starts to appear on my face…. and I was the photographer!! I can only but imagine how it must feel for Luke and Amy and their family and friends as they reminisce the memories they created on this gorgeous wedding day.
Brindabella Country Gardens in Highfields, Toowoomba, was where around 100 family and friends gathered for the nuptials. Roses, flowers and trees enjoying Autumn dotted amongst the gorgeous garden, with pathways leading to all things a secret garden should be, added to the atmosphere of love and happiness. There was no shortage of rose petals and attention to details here!
Inbound Brasserie at the historic Toowoomba Railway Station was where the fun and celebrations really got underway! The bridal party made time to mingle with their guests on the platform while the friendly and effortless staff looked after everyone. The speeches full of heartwarming emotion and personality, were done early. The laughter in the photo booth (a Wild Whimsy – Novel Wedding package bonus) was unforgettably captivating. Marven started it! The dance floor rocked under the talents of Adam from Muzic-4-U. What a wonderful way to party!
But first…. there was getting ready! Amy and her girls were at home at Meringandan and the atmosphere was relaxed and happy! Kady Berry, Marley Hammond, Kelly Michelle , and Michelle (family) all did amazing work on making each of the girls look extra beautiful!
Meanwhile the boys relaxed, as boys do on a wedding day, on the property at Ravensbourne which is Luke’s family home. (It was also the location for Amy and Luke’s beautiful engagement session.)
As I left with the last few guests…(close to midnight) I couldn’t help but play over in my mind one of the happiest wedding days I’ve had the pleasure of documenting.
