Baby James has no idea yet just how excited his big sister was for him to arrive.
When we did the family maternity shoot a few weeks ago, Celina was almost bursting with the excitement she felt about baby James’ impending arrival. You can see those photos here.
And that excitement hasn’t wavered! I promise. She has most definitely filled the job description perfectly for best big sister of a newborn!
Not only was James’ arrival welcomed by Celina… but his Grandma, Aunt and Cousin came all the way from Canada to say ‘Hi’ and spend some precious time in his first few weeks with him. Such special visitors had to be included in James’ newborn lifestyle session at his home in Highfields Toowoomba.
oh….. and then there is James’ Mum and Dad…. they are pretty excited to have baby James at home with them too!
I just love the natural-ness that comes through in the photos from a new Mum being relaxed in her own home. This one takes my breath away every time.
We finished off our session with some classic but still relaxed family combinations…… by the fading window light! It was perfection!
I can’t decide if I like the black and white or colour versions best!
Oh…. and of course a least one or two very cute baby James photos had to make the mix!
Now you can call this bribery….. or gentle cohersion….. but I think the lolly pops for the girls made for an awesome little cousins set of photos.
